TUCSON — The Catalina Foothills School District Foundation (CFSDF) will hold its 5th Annual Golf for the Endowments, Friday, March 12, at Skyline Country Club. Shotgun start will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m.

The event supports the CFSD Foundation’s Endowment funds and continues the history of excelling District 16 schools. The entry fee of $125 includes use of a golf cart, 18 holes of best ball, scrumptious boxed lunch, appetizers and prizes (including a chance to win a signed Arnold Palmer golf club!) at the 19th hole. Mulligan’s and raffle tickets will also be for sale at the event.

Tickets can be purchased online at cfsdfoundation.org or by calling Greg Coleman at (520) 760-1111, $50 of the entry fee is tax deductible.

Sponsorships are available and range from $100, which includes a favorite teacher’s name on the green all the way up to $2,500, which includes a foursome, logo on 6 greens, logo on the CFSD website and invitation. All proceeds from the Golf Tournament will support the Endowments.

The CFSD Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and raises funds for the community’s investment in CFSD public schools in order to provide students the best possible educational opportunities.

The Catalina Foothills School District Foundation has established four endowment funds to provide a multi-year source of funding for programs in our schools. Budget decisions to eliminate or reduce programs offered to our students cannot be avoided unless a consistent level of funding can be guaranteed. Our endowments allow our students to continue to benefit from a broad and varied curriculum year after year, independent of state funding. Donations earmarked for our endowment funds are invested to correspond with the original purpose and objective of the individual fund. Investment horizons can range from one year to perpetuity.
