Susie Speelman and Joe Day were honored as Teachers of the Year by the Catalina Foothills School District Foundation (CFSD) at their 11th Annual Love Our Schools Gala, Feb. 5, at the Skyline Country Club. The Gala featured elegant buffet dining, Vegas style casino gaming with prizes, V.I.P. Lounge with music and dancing, a silent and live auction, and a presentation of the Teacher of the Year awards.
